Jk rubicon tcase problems

Caught the Bug
So last year I swapped in a low mileage rubicon transfer case. Programmed everything through my traildash.

But I have noticed I can’t shift through gears when in 4low. It just stays in first gear.

Anyone else have this problem?

Will it shift on it's own if left in Drive? I could be wrong but I think the manual shift function may be locked out when in 4LO

No it won’t shift in drive either. Just stays in first. I thought I read somewhere you can adjust it with the cable on the tcase. But it didn’t seem adjustable.

Yeah, no issues shifting in 4LO or 4Hi on mine. Only time I've done it is on larger hill climbs where maintaining wheel speed is essential. Last this you want on a snow covered climb is to down shift.
 
Yeah, mine shifts fine manually. Weird that I've never shifted manually in 4LO before. Maybe I have & just don't remember. :thinking: I'm sure I have and I'm just full of shit. Sucks getting old

Usually your transfer case blows up before you are able to shift into 4wd so that may be why you don’t remember.

I couldn’t take it anymore, especially heading down the dirt roads to my clients sites
