Is it okay for the LCA to run this way or should I try to straighten

I was checking the jeep for something I am going to ask on another thread and noticed that my front LCA is like this on the mount. Is it OK to be like that or should I take it out and flip it or something. I'm worried that if it's just something cosmetic I might throw the angle on the axle out. But I would think that even though the Metalcloak arms are designed to flex like that, that is not the desired angle for that joint. Any input highly welcome

Yes it’s fine. The joint is moving around so as the axle move the joint will as well. Your good

That is incorrect. The joint needs to be flipped 180deg, as shown in this picture. The MC joints have the correct angle built into them, but you have them upside down.

Looks like you're a half rotation off on the joint.

I would think that depends on where you're at in terms of length now and if you're using your lowers to help give you more caster or not.

Assuming the shop I had it installed at is no longer open, what would be my safer bet?
Or how could I figure which is best?

The amount of length change won't be that much either way so unless it gives you vibrations, I'd go out a half - longer.

If the other end is symetrical couldn't you just unbolt both ends, remove it, and flip the entire arm over? Then the length wouldn't change.

The center of the arms has an inward bend, so flipping the arm is not an option. Joint itself has to be turned.
