Taking a group down tomoro morning to MIOBI (make it or break it) which is one of only 3 spots we have to wheel in Iowa.
I've got my tj on 36's, atch is jku on 37's, gecko is jk on 33's, kody is tj on 33's
We will post up here the adventure....
Miobi is known for buggies on 49's :)

Oh yeah, no one else has been there before but me...:D

Weather is going to be dry and hot- 98 degrees...

And we have Yoch camping there (LJ) who already broke down tonight, but will co-pilot tomorro, and meeting Craig (hemi jku on 40's) down there tomoro
Should be a fun time...

Make it the TKX. Have fun and enjoy the wheeling.

The land is an old strip mine, about 900 acres with a playground area, and lots of wooded trails with various hills, obstacles, creek crossings, etc

Swamps= no good :D

Should be fun, but I have a feeling the guys on only 33's will cause us some recovery time :)

You haven't seen Baby Murph in action! He will get his TJ through with a "little" skinny pedal if need be.

I don't mind recovery time... It's half the fun to me, and If you take a couple pics of their stuck rigs it will motivate them to upsize. And who knows.... Maybe they will end up pulling you out! I've been pulled out by my buddy on 33's when I was on 37s (I did have a broken rear axle tho, stupid d35).

05 Tj, long arm, one ton, lockers, winches, 39.5" Iroks

Most unique rig, must be his version of a "mobile home"!
Before

Yes that is a mail box on the hood and a freezer on the back!

After

That's his roof sticking straight up, he rolled it while being towed out

Another better unique rig= studebaker

Oh the good old Midwest. Gotta love it. Wish I would have had a jeep out in SoDak when I was younger. Would have saved me from getting stuck a lot.

It is, but unfortunately we only hit the outside wooded trail, and one of the obstacle areas today "slab rock" there are several trails with many obstacles, but the biggest obstacle is usually mud :-(
Thankfully, today, it was very dry, but almost too dry. Traction was hard to get, but the mudholes were easy to avoid :) one rollover today, probably 90 rigs out today, 900 acres, was a lil crowded at times, which kept us from playing at the "playground" area which has quite a few strip mine cracks to climb. Although we didn't really "do much" today, I think everybody had fun :) it was a fun day
