Incoming ring volume unbearable

Every time the phone rings in the jeep it scare the $#@# out of anybody in the vehicule. I turn the ringer down everytime but the volume keeps going back up on the next call. I have searched but can't find anything , is there a fix for this?

There is a setting you can change for that, also when you’re on the phone you can also turn the volume down at that time, during the call. You can also use the steering wheel controls or the volume control on dash to change volume during active ringing.

I have done that but the next call is back up to unbearable levels

Have you ride lowering it on your phone?

There is a setting in uconnect that auto adjusts volume based on speed, it's supposed to compensate for road noise, turn it off its wonky.

Easy fix is leave the phone at home

There is two different volume settings. One for music and one for phone. Recommend making a phone call and adjusting the volume as it’s ringing

Took us almost three years to figure this out, lol.
