Hello all. Currently I have a 2021 gladiator rubicon with a spacer lift and 37’s. Looking to swap out the very soft rubicon suspension for something with better onroad ride quality. Honestly I don’t offroad much if at all but don’t want to remove that capability. I do regularly see dirt roads that can be rough and rough pavement roads here in NY. I tow on occasion but no more than ~2500lbs behind the gladiator. I’ve narrowed my choices down to 3 options based on my budget of ~$2k:

1. Aev 2.5 dual sport- main concern here is it being TOO stiff and rough riding since I’m unloaded the majority of the time. 5100’s seem 50/50 between people, some love them and some say they’re too rough. Will add a track bar to this

2. Rock krawler 3 inch adventure- possibly a softer spring than the aev, and can be had with the same 5100’s or my choice which would probably be metalcloak rock sports due to price. Will add front control arm geo correction brackets to this

3. Jks 3.5 inch- seems like a complete kit overall. Comes with fox shocks either the 2.0 or newer 2.5 performance, track bar and geo correction brackets. Not sure on the quality vs the other 2.

Any thoughts?

I have done a couple of the AEV kits here at my shop on the gladiators. Its rides pretty well. I wouldn’t say it’s stiff personally. This black one was on the firmer side when we first built it but it had the HD springs in it for when it’s got a bed cap and a for when it was trailering it’s camper trailer.

Had the 2.5 AEV dual sport on my wrangler at the beginning and it was rough and was glad to be rid of it. I have no personal experience with the RK or JKS lifts.
