Hi I hydrolocked my 3.6L penstar today... I'm pulling apart my intake manifold tomorrow to get to all the spark plugs. I've never taken apart any intake manifold or engine for that matter... I was wondering of anyone has ever done this in the Southern California area and was willing to help tomorrow!
PM me if you are!

Thank you
Colby

Oh and my bull bar got ripped off when I was getting pulled out

Chain hooks didn't fit thru the drings... Whatever time for a homemade stinger!:)

Hahaha I saw this happen! I'm the black kid with the white jk that's always at the car meets :cheesy:

same exact thing happened to me with my 3.8 a few weeks back
i have a fully open CAI hit about a 3' water crossing going a bit too fast and did all sorts of damage
luckily my insurance covered me as "flood" damage and replaced my whole engine just payed my deductible and was good to go might be something to look into if you cracked your block like i did

Damn! I'm really glad my CAI is fully boxed in with the breathing cut out at the very top after reading these stories. Good luck with your damage.:thumb:

Way to go there killer. Drive thru water that fast with cold air intake then use a bull bar as recovery point. I would post on pirate4x4, they'll help you out

Do you know that you could have just unscrewed the pin for the d-ring and put it around the chain, then out the pin back in. Then take the hook and hook it on one of the chain links and pulled your jeep out safely. You have to be careful cuz that bull bar could have taken your head off
