Why did the Tesla take off like that? The guy said in the video description he was hardly able to control the car. You were at a stop, what is there to control?

Maybe one of the Tesla's with a failing gas pedal (gets stuck down). There is a major recall for that.

I thought that but wouldn’t the autopilot stop in the event of an accident? Not accelerate forward after a front end collision?

Why did the airbags not go off?
I T-Boned someone when she ran a red light a few years ago and my airbags never went off…it’s a jeep, not a Subaru.
Also the video looks fast, but I bet she was going 15 mph.

Not sure if it was true or not but I read somewhere that the auto pilot malfunctioned with the crash. Forgot where I read it though.
