Hope everyone in the southwest stays safe this weekend, especially those of you in SoCal.
Heard reports it was somehow deleting classified emails. Weird.Hope everyone in the southwest stays safe this weekend, especially those of you in SoCal.
Hopefully at least some of that makes its way into the Colorado.Las Vegas & Henderson will be on a flash flood warning on Sunday…they may get two years
of rainfall in one day…
I’ve slept in a two man tent above Haka’ano Valley on Molokai during Hurricane Iniki…If you guys have never been through one, it's no joke.
You're going to get more wind and rain than you've seen before.
Flash flooding everywhere. If you're in a low lying area and they give a flash flood warning, get the hell out.
It will move a building off of foundations and wash vehicles away like toys.
AND, just because it quits raining, doesn't mean you're done. It moves in a counter clock wise rotation and the rain bands spread out for hundreds
of miles. You may get a gap and then BOOM it's back.
Good luck
Didn't they already get that this year?Las Vegas & Henderson will be on a flash flood warning on Sunday…they may get two years

I'm not looking forward to it. I have sandbags set up here, but I also had to set up sand bags at my dads house south of Lake Havasu in AZ. Sucks I have to worry about two houses and I can't be two places at once.Las Vegas & Henderson will be on a flash flood warning on Sunday…they may get two years

I bet that was a wild camping experience! How well did you and your tent do?I’ve slept in a two man tent above Haka’ano Valley on Molokai during Hurricane Iniki…
actually it was Iwa…I was on Oahu during Iniki…
Those Dots pretzels, aka, crack, and beer is all you need. HahaJust got back from Costco with hurricane supplies. Looks like there was a run on generators, water and TP. My priorities were a little different...haha. The rain was coming down quite hard for the desert and if we get the forecasted 3-5" there will definitely be some flooding. 40-50 mph winds are very common here so I'm not concerned. Also we live on a hill so I can watch the water run right by my house. It's turning into a spectical for sure.

I got on the freeway this morning and was like WTF is going on?? Half the City stayed home. I thought maybe Covid was released again and I didn’t get the Memo. They actually closed schools in all of Los Angeles today… For what? Some F’n Rain. What a bunch of Pussies Society is becoming. The news is making it sound like the end of days![]()
I have a friend who lives in the San Diego area and he sent me a pic of his commute - totally devoid of any traffic. He said the same thing about the virus. Too damn funny.I got on the freeway this morning and was like WTF is going on?? Half the City stayed home. I thought maybe Covid was released again and I didn’t get the Memo. Ha!.. well on a side note, the wife keeps hearing about more lock downs and school restrictions coming in December because of a “New Virus”… and I did get stopped on the Fwy today because of the VP motorcade headed to the Airport. She was probably here making plans with her pal Newsom. I think the next Shit Storm is coming.I have a friend who lives in the San Diego area and he sent me a pic of his commute - totally devoid of any traffic. He said the same thing about the virus.
