I just stumbled on this site while searching out a write up for tuning up my '07 JKU Rubicon.
I'm a retired FCA Chrysler worker who chased the chain for 23 years and finally decided enough was enough.
I've been my own mechanic for many years and am pretty handy with a wrench. After having some issues with a TJ that was heavily customized and then destroyed by thieves I pretty much decided to leave my JK about as stock as it came from the factory. It's build number is 16962 and was delivered to me on Dec. 8th 2006, so it was one of the first few Rubicons shipped into Canada, and she's been a joy since day one, both on and off the trail.
