Hello. New member, just joined this weekend but knew about Wayalife since I've had my JK.

I drive a 2013 JKUR. Bright white and love it. My wife (I have a great one) wanted me to upgrade the vehicle I drive and said "get whatever you want as long as it is in $X budget. After much consideration and the fault of my brother in law (he has an 09 JKU) I told myself I would like to get a vehicle that's fun no matter what weather, temperature and circumstance. And nothing has been more fun than this jeep.

In the year I've had it I've gone to 6 trails, I have gotten stuck in snow. Stuck in mud (really bad) TJ had to come and pull me with his winch. Pretty cosmetic upgrades others like leveling kit, LOD MId width bumper and warn winch. I love the fact that I can take the top off, take the doors off. The jeep has made me more punctual. On a good day I make sure I leave early to take the top down and make sure I have enough time to put it up or whatever when I get there. The kids love it. It's the best.

Looking forward to interactions here and it's on my bucket list to make a run one of these days. Below is a short video I made of some wheeling in the snow a few weeks ago.

See you around. http://youtu.be/EPHxWlJo8mo

Welcome man, in CT as well. Working on my 05 TJ Rubicon. Just a toy but I love it. Congrats on your JK. Do you wheel anywhere local? I've heard there is some area in winsted that is not illegal. Always looking for somewhere to run the pumpkin. Have fun. Enjoy all this snow!

Welcome!!! I'm up in Watertown myself.

Any decent trails in Watertown area? I am hearing rumors about some decent spots in winsted area, don't want to hassle with the local cops so legal spots are required....

No legal spots, they have some state forest fire roads but they are marked for fire fighting only.

There are local clubs that do monthly trail rides legally on private land. You'll have to search them out and become a member.

I'll check it out, might be worth the effort. Any CT members belong to a club they would recommend?

Northeast jeep. Org isn't bad but the traffic and event updating could use some help. I know there are more out there too.
