I was stationed in CA in the mid 90's, was awesome.

Don’t forget desert. Lots of desert. Actually desert is why I’m still here. Spent 28 years in 29 Palms, until last year. Getting stationed in the desert got me weaned off of ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes, and humidity. Unfortunately I’m now in the Central Valley, most humid place on earth that is not Okinawa.😆

Oh my God I love Baja... I used to run sandrails down there decades ago. Death Valley is great too. I know Okinawa, I used to do the Pacific channel run from Travis to Guam, then to either Thailand or Okinawa and back. C-5 / C-141 travels.
