Headed down to Tennessee!

As most of you have seen I recently graduated from coast guard basic training and I will be headed to my first unit in buchanan Tennessee this Thursday. Anyone in our wonderful family live down that way? Any good trails around that area? What's good to do around there other than head into Memphis or Nashville?
 
better find some trails by the time we drive back from the rubicon so we can wheel lol! cant believe you got TN lol!

That's what I'm hoping for!! And like I said I'm only going to be here for about 6 months, maybe slightly longer. Who knows, maybe my next unit will be in Boston ;)

ok 6 months i can deal with that! at least we can wheel it on the way back! dont even joke about boston, just do it!
 
Google says your gonna be 4.5hrs from me. And you are gonna be right on top of LBL, and a couple hrs max from windrock. Sounds like some good options.

I happen to live in Memphis! Trust me there's not really a lot of trails here! It's mostly just mud! There's a few places with trails around here but not a lot

Sweet! Gonna have to go hit up some trails then this summer together!

Damn I don't like mud to much. Oh well. Anything outside of trail riding that's fun to do down around there?

The new bass pro at the pyramid just opened this past weekend which is bad ass! We've also got the grizlies nba team and the redbirds, the triple a team for the cardinals, and some other stuff

Winrock
Wheelin' in the Country
Golden Mountain state park
I know i missed some. East/Middle TN has most of the parks


Come see us in Nashville, tons of clubs everywhere.
 
^^^ Yeah what he said. We've got one or two clubs in our area but all of the good trails and stuff like mentioned above are in east/middle Tennessee

Hell yeah! If you're ever in the Memphis area let me know and i'll show you around. I'll get some fellow jeepers together to go with us too! I mean after it rains most of the trails are passable even for me in a stock jeep with street tires but after a few days of no rain they dry out real quick and go back to predominantly bone dry conditions so we'll take you trail riding if you want to go
 
If you wanna make a 7 hour drive further west, some of us Missourians are heading to Smorr in southwest MO.
 
I'm from Memphis to. And whatever you do stay out of the Covington pike bottoms. It's no good down there. Them whole will either swallow your jeep or they just have crap thrown in there from someone else being stuck and trying to get out ha. But me personally, I head to hot spring ark orv park. It's fun, even for a tiny jeep like mine. So definitely hit us up if you ever swing this way
