Me & the wife purchased Willy back in June 2014. I've been modding/building cars & trucks for years but this is my 1st Jeep. The 1st few things I needed to do was install some steps & grab handles for the wife. Took off the Rubi rails to install Mopar step bars. Also changed out the factory grab handles for a set of Grabars.

I also installed Sill plate protectors, the little filler pieces behind the door handles so my wife can't scratch the paint with her rings/fingernails.

Then I installed door stops to hold to doors open for us old folks, plus a dead pedal for me.

Then I needed something to assist me with the hood since only having 1 arm the bar system didn't work so I installed hood struts.

We removed the back seat & decided to make our own rear mat.

Then I wanted some security so Installed locking lugs, locking gas cap & gas door, & lock for the hood.

Whether they work or not I blow money on perf. mods as well.

This week I decided the plastic mopar steps won't hold up offroad so I replaced them with a set of Smitybuilty bars.

I've also received my Rockhard 4x4 skid plates in aluminum which I'll hang next wek.

Welcome. There's a seperate wave section but not a huge deal. Great looking Jeep. Love the color. Which hood struts did you get?

Welcome !! Jeep looks good. Great start with all the practical mods:thumb:. I really like the way you painted the A/C vents. Most guys paint the whole thing. I like the smaller touch.

Really like the interior paint touches, how did you do that? Mods looking good so far and love the color.

Thanks, I removed the vents, took them apart & painted the inside ring. The screw/bolts unscrewed & painted them. Bought the matching paint on Amazon in kit form(primer, base, & clear coat)
