Going Vertical

When I'm going up steep inclines or spend time trying to clear an inclined obstacle my wheels will quit turning. Until the rpm's get up to 4000 plus.

After it levels out a bit the problem goes away.

A tech told me it sounds like my tranny fluid isn't getting sucked into the lines due to the sharp incline. When I get it rev'd up the fluid gets pulled into the lines.

Has anyone experienced this problem? Does the diagnosis sound feasible? Any kits available to fix this?

I had it happen one time few years ago. I was climbing a small maybe 15 foot high rock by the stream on the Slickrock trail and when I got half way up my transmission lost its suction from the sump. It was stupid steep though as I have never had the issue again even in Moab.

It happened to me all the time in my old tj, it was a big pain in the ass. I've never had that problem in my jk though.
