Gladiator 3rd Brake Light

I noticed the other day that my 3rd break light wasn’t working and it had been working before. I pulled the access panel and checked the connections at the bottom of the tailgate and behind the light housing itself inside the access panel. I put some dielectric grease and clipped it back in and it worked fine. Now almost daily it stops working. I think the connection must be vibrating loose from normal driving. I would really prefer not to take it in to the dealer if I can fix it myself by somehow snugging up the connection but we’ll see. Has anyone else noticed if theirs is working?

I'll check mine later but don't usually notice that stuff because I'm not behind the truck while I'm driving.

I know what you mean. By the time you take your foot off of the brake pedal, jump out of the jeep, and run to the back the light is off again.

It took a lot for me to find out mine wasn’t working. It’s like looking at your own butt.

Just checked mine. Working fine.
