For anyone looking for info regarding the full Genright cage and soft top capabilities here is what I did. Originally, my jeep was a soft top that the frame mounted to the factory main hoop. When installing the cage, I didn't want to deal with the tabs since I never really liked that top anyways so I took my chances on finding a soft top that worked. I also didn't want to spend the $800 for the bestop top as 1. I didn't want a frame and 2. It's too expensive for something I use maybe 2 to 3 months of the year. So, regardless of mixed reviews with the Rampage bowlers soft rop, I went ahead and ordered it from Amazon for $380.
Install: Not easy at all! It's a must to let the top get hot and soft before even trying. I let it sit in the sun, draped over the jeep for a cpl hours. Once soft, I stated installing and it took about an hr and a half.. fingers, wrists, forearms sore as heck.. but it's on. I would imagine much tighter than over the factory roll bar. But, it does fit for the most part and will do the job when I need it to.
Issues: The rear window sits across the rear cross bar so I don't know how thst will hold up over time.. but it is sealed and secure.
The side rear windows won't fit into the door surrounds due to the cage pulling the top back further, so I put velcro on the back side, leading edge, of the side window and then to the outer surface of the surround.
It's not perfect but it works.
