Gas overflow problem, please help!

In my wife's 2009 jku, every time she fills up the gas overflows?

For some reason, the pump will not detect that it is full.

I did not believe her at first thinking she was doing something wrong so I went to fill her up and it did it again.

It does not matter what station we go to it will happen every time.

Could anyone tell me what is wrong?
 
My 09 does the same thing. I know there was a TSB put out for earlier years, but I've never taken it in to see if mine is covered. I just tend to be careful when filling up, which is a pain in the ass none the less. The TSB has the dealership replace a ventilation hose if im not mistaken.
 
Take it to the dealer and they will replace ur filler neck hose for free.... They did mine but because of a different problem.... Got a free gas tank too!
 
Correct. It is the fuel filler neck. It isn't a recall, but an extended warranty without any limitations. Bring it to any dealership and they will replace the filler neck for free.
 
Filler neck didnt fix my 09, they had to replace the tank also. Did it under the same warrenty.
