Gas mileage on your 4.0 TJ?

I have a 2004 Rubicon, in which I put some 33" with the 4.10 gears, no lift, I have a throttle body spacer and k&E cold air filter.

I notice my TJ is giving me around 170 Miles per full tank, is that normal?

Or should I get a performance chip? I heard some people saying performance chip don't work.

That is about what I get from my 99 with 33's and 3.73 gears when driving around town, the last long highway trip I averaged around 13.8 which surprised me and is within 2 mpg of my 14 JKU which also surprises me.

33x10.5, 2" lift, 4.0L, AX15, & 3.73. 15 in town / 20 highway. My gas tank is coming down this summer to snip the vent hose. Should get about 3-4 more gallons in it. Get a little more range.

2004 Rubicon, I6, auto, 488 gears, 4" lift, 35's.
Between 11 and 13 in town and on my last long drive (7 hours) 17 at 55mph.

I am waiting for my next long drive to see what kind of change I get since installing my Heal Tech Speedo Healer, I was 6.24% fast on my speedo and odo.

I can go about 200 miles on a tank if I need to push it but I always carry 5 gallons on the back.
 
2004 I6 Rubicon 33's and 4" lift. About 13mpg with a SuperChip programmer set on 87 Octane and fuel economy.
