Front/Rear DTD Question

Does the high clearance kit come with EVO MFG Drag Link Flip Kit and Steering Upgrade or do I have to buy those items separately?

Will I need the rear brackets for the High Clearance or does EVOLever take care of the job rear brackets suppose to do?

I can just go with the High Clearance w/ DTD and call it a day?
The drag link kit does not come with the long arm upgrade kits. Purchased seperately.

You will need the the long arm upgrade kit along with the DTD system front and rear

Do you guys still make the EVO Monster links for the High Clearance upgrade kit? If not, what can I use in it's place?

Let me back up just a bit, 1st- Chris@ORE should be your only source for the most accurate info and by no means was I trying to override his position. Some of the things EVO mfg makes are going to be custom, special order items that Off Road Evolution installs on builds at their shop. The Monster links I mentioned are just that, a special ordered item (see photo below, the 1/2" wall thickness link on left).
Very serious question here; It almost sounds like you are just throwing money at a build and don't really understand what you are putting together or need to accomplish this task?

It's all good, you know your evo parts.

I agree, he should really give the shop a call to see what best fits his build.

Im just asking questions before I decide on anything. I wish Chris did more on answering my questions then you. No offense. But thanks for your help anyway. :thumb:

I'll call later, right now my main focus is getting my parts together for my diesel install. Thanks for the help on the DTD questions.

No offense taken, I don't expect you to know mine or anyone else's experience level on this forum. But you do realize every question you have asked has been asked dozens of times on multiple forums by many different people and most of us have seen it before and probably answered it......and most importantly if you look at my signature you might notice that I am running every piece of kit you have a question about, so its not like I'm making things up:cheesy:

I never said you were making things up and never assumed you were. :naw:
All I said was, it would been better if Chris did the answering. I'm just going to leave it at that, before this is escalated to something that's unnecessary.

I did do some research on the matter of the DTD and suspension setup, but didn't find the answers I was looking for. That is why I post my questions on this forum.

If you have questions but only want one specific person to answer you then send them a pm. There are a lot of knowledgable people on here that are willing to help. Getting frustrated wont help.

Im not frustrated at all and I did send a PM to Chris several days ago.

if i were to ask a question on an open forum, i would want it to be answered by those who have BOTH the knowledge AND experience with the items/equipment i was asking about. i would furthermore not ask people kind enough to try to answer your questions to "stop", because once again, you asked it on an open forum!

you will find that there are a number of guys here running this setup and their knowledge and experience of the setup is what your are gonna need to do it correctly.

Greg is too modest to tell you but, he's actually good friends with EVO, works with them on a regular basis and has even co-driven with them at the King of the Hammers Everyman Challenge. He actually really knows his stuff just as well as anyone from EVO. But, I'm sure Chris will be able to help you out just as well. :yup:

Sorry man, it's the weekend and I was busy working on a friends jeep. I read Greg's reply. Frankly he answered you as good or better than I would have. Please let me know if you have any questions that have not been answered.

Forums are great but when your spending the kind of money your are planning on its best to give us a call. We can talk about what your plans are for your jeep, the budget and your long term plans. I would hate for you to start ordering parts and not have a game plan.

I have a game plan for my build but Im still deciding what suspension I should go with. Like I said before, Im just asking questions. There no need for people to get offended and I dont know how someone would assume that was frustrated . But what's done, is done.

Thanks for the help anyway chris. I'll call later on once I have the engine swap and drive train done.
