HEY BUOYS and GULLS!!
Steve here, and want to say a big western HOWDY to all the folks!
A little about me, and my stuff.
I am an old F--t, at 67, and still cussin and laughing my way though life. I am married to the most patient, and sometimes understanding woman, Linda, and we livw with several animals. First are our horses, Lancer, and Siseley, they are one of the reasons I am still sane. Lancer is 32 yrs young, a bay 1/2 Arab, half Quarter horse, and Siseley is a pure bred Arabian mare. We now have 3 dogs, Jake, Jondy, and of course...Snoozy!
Jake and Jondy are Queensland Heeler/Shorthair Pointer mix, and Snoozy....well she is an ankle biter of a Min-Pin.
We also have one barn cat, Bandit, and he never comes in the house because of the dogs keep smelling his butt, and chasing him from his dinner, so they can eat it.
I have a 2001, XJ, that is only 2wd, but is the family car. I had to sell my Ram truck that was 4X4, and my 92 Wrangler, because of needing money for survival with my not working after the Liar-In Chief, got done with the economy and the cutting of programs at NASA where I was working.
Ok, I also wanted to extend an invite to anyone in the So. Cal area to come and camp/wheel with a few friends here. We are going to the Red Rock Cyn State park, and will camp either in Bonanza Gulch, or in Goler gulch. We will do the "Squeeze" then explore the trails, and perhaps run to Sheep Springs, or to Last Chance Cyn. It is my understanding thet Nightmare Gulch will be closed to motorized traffic until further notice, so we will have to see about that one.
Make a note for Feb 21-23, and let us know. I have my e-mail in my profile, so you can P.M. us.
so far we are expecting about 5 other jeeps, and may get to stay at the cabin in Bonanza Gulch, but don't count on it. Bring your own water, food, and camping stuff.
