Don't take this as a brag or lack of respect for this trail because it is by far the toughest trail I've ever done. But I have been through this trail in my Tj when I was still on 33's. The water crossing was low and we had to winch on 1, 3, and 5. This trail is fantastic and exhausting. Bring your A game cause it will wear you out. Can't wait to run it again on the new 35's.

its my understanding that water flows are planned in advanced, with a little fine tuning when monitoring the live flow. PG&E has been known to reduce flow rates for events on the trail like sierra trek, but September October the flow is pretty minimal as they try to store winter water. I'm pretty sure PG&E gives future flow data to Friends of the Fordyce, if I see a forecast i'll post it. Last time I saw the lake it was a pond, so i wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the lowest flows this year.

They have fordyce dam drained right now for maintenance so no high river crossing

Am I seeing things or did your pumpkin twist free from the tubes?!? Not fun!!

Yep spun almost vertical. We tried winching it back down to unbind everything but no luck. Tried removing the driveline but it was so bound you couldn't get to bolts. So we strapped him and took it slow.

He did make it too winch hill #0 :cheesy: sorry Ricky had too. I'm sure when it's my turn you'll do the same ;)
