Flushing coolant from engine block

Replacing radiator. Before installing new radiator, what is the best method to flush the engine block. I presume you should remove the thermostat and flush fresh water through to exit the lower hose outlet. Is there a preferred method to pressurize this approach?

Maybe install the new one and fill it with straight water and run it for a few mins then drain it and repeat until is "clear". When I replaced my radiator in my Titan I just installed the new one a filled it up with new 50/50 mix and ran it. I didn't do a flush.
