Flush mount d2 in 10A bumper caps

Bought some flush mounts for back up lights and they are a tad too big. Has anyone put them in the bumper caps just inside of the factory fog lights? It sounds hollow inside.


When in doubt, throttle out.

I think there is a small frame extension or crash can in there. Not sure if they would fully recess.
