Flighty steering

I just finished putting a 4 inch skyjacker lift in a jeep tj rubicon. And the steering is flighty and seems to wonder on the road. Im wondering if it would be balljoints gone bad? Would a pitman drop arm help correct this aswell?
 
I know my ball joint where on their way before the lift and im curious if that would be the cause of this or is it the nature of the skycrapper lift
 
Your steering angle is likely the cause. For a TJ I'm not sure if you can get a drag link flip, so a dropped pitman arm is probably your best solution.
 
Thanks. My buddy told me i didnt need it. He said he got away with installing his 4 inch without one.Though it did come with the kit. I guess ill have to try to unseize that damn pitman arm and change it haha
