Fender flare crack protection lol!!

Just got a Gladiator Rubicon last week and it’s my first Jeep. I plan doing many things to it, to include new fender flares but it will be a little bit before I can do that, so in the mean time does anyone know what I can do to keep leaves, mud etc. out of the big crevice between the body and the fender ??? Thank you in advance!!

Stay out of the mud...:thumb: Seriously I think there is a write-up on here somewhere about pushing some foam tubing in the seam.
