EVO Rockskins installed

Caught the Bug
Well, I finally installed my EVO Rockskins. The Astro 1442 nut insert tool was a huge help, but man your drilling and installation of the nut inserts have to be dead on. There is no wiggle rooom at all. It is tedious though. I for one did it alone, (don’t ever do it alone, it is a pain.) I held the skins up and marked the four holes between the front and rear doors. Took the skins down drilled out the four holes and inserted the nut inserts. Bolt the skins up and marked two holes in the front and two holes going back, unbolted the Rockskins drilled out those holes and inserted the nut inserts. Then bolted the skins back up marked two more holes in the front and one in the back and etc...

Here are pictures.

Next is the EVO Rock Sliders.

Those look great. I've been thinking about getting some for my jeep for awhile now mainly because I want some EVO sliders and I don't think they will look good w/o the skins. The install does look tedious. I hope you had a warm garage to install at least.

Thank so everyone. I was originally going to have a local Fab shop do it, but they wanted 320 dollars. I thought to myself that is two thirds the price for the EVO rockslides. So, I decided to do it myself. 320 dollars is justifiable because they are a pin in the butt to install.
