Evo Long Arms

Installed my control arms and axle tonight.

Not sure what I have going on but the upper control arm mounts on the axle seem to be in a bind.

Do I have the arms installed wrong?

I have not changed the length yet. They are at the recommended length in the directions (about as short as they go)

Un-bolt the passenger side upper arm and then set your caster. Once you got it adjust the passenger side so you can bolt it back in. There is a right up for adjusting all 8 arms you should check it out.

Awesome! Thanks!

How do you decide how far forward to position the axle when you don't have bump stops?

My spring tower and bump stop on the frame have been removed for the DTD towers.

You can try working with the flat surface on top of the knuckle around the balljoints

Set the length according to EVO’s instructions. If you follow EVO’s DTD instructions as well everything should line up just fine.

I’m not 100% sure where you want to measure from for that setup, but a good starting point would be to center the axle in your wheel well. It will probably be a few turns out. When you have it centered then start working on your caster, measure from the pinion.
