Im having a electrical issue with my instrument panel and parking lights. All others are working fine. I traced it down to a white wire that comes from fuse block to head light switch. When i apply power to this white wire, all my lights work fine (all fuses check out good). So i guess my question is, If i run a different power leg (fused) to the head light switch will this be ok or should i replace the harness and fuse block. Just wondering if i'm prolonging the inevitable.:thinking:

If you know that the problem wire is not connected then yes I would run a new wire and fix your problem and be done with it. Just my 0.02.

Its sounds like you may have a broken wire or a short. Do you have a meter? if so check for continuity see if wire rings out if not it has a break in it. or abandoned the original wire and run a new one:twocents:.
