Hi,
I am not a mechanic so i always bring my Jeep to the dealer when i want to have something done. I am sitting here in France and not every Jeep Dealer is familiar with all the after market mods out there..so i usually order the parts, hand them over to him and he trys to mount them.
Today he installed the dynatrac ball joints. All went well..the jeep drives great , no more steering wheel shimmy, all good so far. But the mechanic and I were wondering if that gap with new upper ball joint between the steering knuckle and the end forging is normal? That gap was not there wit the OE ball joints. We wonder if we forgot something or something was mounted incorrectly?
I know many of you have done it several times and all of you have way more experience with all that Jeep stuff, thats why i hope to get an answer here.
thank you
