I have seen it done, lots of work and special tools. The second question is.... should they be rebuilt ? If they have a lot of miles on them and are making the "clicking sound" (common on worn out dry CV's) it's time for new a new ones. .

Click to expand... you can dip dog shit in Chocolate, however its still dog shit inside. I would replace them with aftermarket 1310 or 1350 shafts before I would spend any money on the junk factory ones.
