Starting to install my kit but I'm having trouble understanding how this u-bolt works. I don't get how/where these washers and nuts are used and it doesn't say in the instructions.

The arrows are pointing at the ends of the U-bolt. It goes around the axle tube at the end of the bracket.

So it goes nut, washer, nut? I guess what I'm trying to figure out is how to use those other two nuts that aren't on the u-bolt. Or maybe, how to use the two nuts that ARE on the u-bolt?
 
The U-bolt should just have a washer and then a nut on each end.

You might have just gotten a extra couple of nuts in your hardware bag. (happens all the time)

You are correct, the stovers come in the hardware pack. The Ubolts come with regular non locking nuts. Rather than open up every hardware bag EVO MFG just leaves them on.
 
Is it common for the 1/2" bolts to not fit in any hole they're supposed to go in? I have to drill out every hole that bolt is supposed to go through

In installing mine recently, I noticed that the u bolts had a larger radius than my axle therefore I would have to drill out the holes in the bracket. I just went and got a smaller radius u bolt. Worked perfect. Got them at my local bolt and nut supply store.
 
I just put the u bolt on a vice and squeezed it until I fit in the holes correctly

Does anybody have the measurements of the stock track bar hole to hole? My aftermarket tb is about a half inch too long even at its shortest length at about 32.5". 1379562418100.jpg

It seems you got it figured out. But if ur track bar was "too long" you probably had to adjust the axle towards the passanger side of the jeep.
