Hi
I´ve installed my new Dana UD44 this weekend and only have some torque setting to do and fill up the diff house with oil. However, it is not untill late next week or the week after that I have time to go to a shop to have my rear axle regeared. My UD44 have 4.56 and my rear axle have 3.73.
Is it ok to drive with the front driveshaft connected if I do NOT put the jeep in 4 wheel drive? Or is there some synchro stuff in the transfer case that will be damaged?
Thanks
