Just throwin the question out there. Anyone know where and when a lot of the trophy trucks you see out here in SoCal meet up in the desert? I would love to go watch some of those guys rip around one weekend.

Just look online for their scheduled races either m.o.r.e., score , or best in the desert those are some of the desert racing series

The Baja 500 was a few days ago. That may explain why you saw so many trucks. Ocotillo wells is a popular place to play in prerunners and many teams test out there too. I think there is a night race coming up in imperial, ca out at superstition. There is a race track out there.

Ocotillo wells, Johnson Valley, Victorville, Barstow Main (one of the most popular strips of land for prerunners in California), Glen Helen, Pismo dunes. Those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. And at this time of year, you can most likely catch trucks out there any weekend. Especially holiday weekends like the 4th, memorial day, labor day, etc

You got Best of the desert series also. Vegas to Reno, Parker, Laughlin, etc etc. You can google it

The pre runners like to travel in packs out to Hodge road in Barstow. Any major Vegas race they usually set up contingency at Aliante Casino in NV so you can go and look at all the cool expensive stuff and purchase. You also have the pro trucks that run in Primm at state line.

Go to Baja or Ocotillo as people have said.
Also check out plaster city. A lot of teams test in Plaster City due to the insane amount of whoops that are out there next to the highway to test the suspensions.

i would suggest going to glamis... oldsmobile hill, and the drags in the late afternoon.

you'll have to air way down, but you can air back up for free at the main ranger station.
