Caught the Bug
Can I just say this forum has been a gold mine of information? The responses I get on here are 100% on freakin point. Just resolved the death wobble on my daughter's 2001 TJ. I ended up replacing the drag link and tie rod, along with the steering box (not related to death wobble it was leaking like crazy). I bought the ball joints as well as the old ones look blown. It haven't replaced them yet.
At any rate, after replacing the drag link and tie rod I still had some serious wobble. Read thru some posts here, got some ideas and tried them out. The TJ basic alignment write-up did the trick. This thing drives SOLID!!!
I still plan on replacing the ball joints as it can't hurt, and I already bought them, but now it's about improving stuff vs just trying to stay alive when driving. [emoji12]
