We will be heading out to Coyote Lake on Monday, June 20th as our main destination which includes a stop at Red Lake. This is a fun trail with a good amount of rock gardens to play on with some awesome lakes to relax at.
The trail is located approximately 13 miles past Shaver Lake off of highway 168 which for those of you not familiar with the area, Shaver Lake is about 1 hour east of Fresno. The Coyote Lake trail is 10.4 miles long with a difficulty rating of "Difficult". You can get through this trail with the minimum requirements but you will have to work a little harder in some areas with some rubbing :thumb:
This will be a day trip with an early meeting time of 0600 with a goal of starting the trail before 8. We will be meeting at the Chevron gas station located at Highway 168 and Temperance Ave. in Clovis.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 33" tires
2. Front/Rear tow points
3. Recovery gear
Recommended:
1. 35" tires
2. Lockers
3. Winch
4. Spare Parts/tools
5. CB
