Sadly, I'll believe it when I "actually" see it. Jeep has been saying again and again they were going to come out with a truck for a very long time and each time was for real. Like you, I would LOVE to have a Jeep truck but have long since stopped holding my breath. IF it really happens, I will be glad but until then, I'll consider it just a dream.
 
Jeez Eddie they should start calling you "dream crusher" i had so much hope for 30 seconds there. haha

i just hope that when they do release one that they give it a decent towing capacity so it can be used for real life tasks 2000lbs doesnt let you tow much!
 
Lol. We all want it to be true. So much so that there has been a pretty steady supply of articles for a few years saying it is true.

Unfortunately, fiction does come in written form.

Same here. If Jeep makes a 4 door, 5 passenger truck I will be there with money in hand to get the first one off the lot. Especially if they were available with a diesel as well. After realizing the Brute is way to much, and weighing in the other options (JK-EXT, Adventure Trucks, JK8), I have decided my best bet is going to be to wait and see what Jeep does. Until then I am just going to finish my Jeep up and if it never comes, I've got a complete rig that will be my last Jeep. If it does come, then great, I will be building a Jeep truck!
 
I was recently looking at a 2016 jku rubicon hard rock at the dealer when a sales lady came out to talk. After telling her I was only looking at the moment but was interested in what she knew about the upcoming "jl" she informed me that it will have changes but will still be hard top, soft top oriented and have the diesel motor. She then went on to say that the grand wagoner will be released along with a "JEEP TRUCK" and a new compass. Just thought I'd relay this message.
