Corner guards

I purchased the rugged ridge diamond plate rear corner guards for my 2009 wrangler unlimited x. When I fitted them there was a significant gap on the corner and would not site flush. Anyone else have this issue? I love the way they look but I can’t have it barely holding on

Did they send you the 2 door ones? Supposedly the corner is shaped different on the 2 vs 4 door. If I’m not mistaken, I believe the 2 door has more of a radius than the 4 door
