Control Arm Styles and Joints

Just being curious here, and thinking on which is better, thought I would ask the pros.

What is the advantage between the typical Johnny Joint with a standard jam nut, versus the Evo/synergy style that uses a clamp nut and double adjuster?

I can see the Evo style being easier to adjust and get torqued down versus the old style jam nut which can be a pain to keep tight.

This comes from seeing the video of the Linx Lock that Evo used to sell.

Personal preference if you ask me, one you can adjust on the jeep, one you have to drop.

It's a pain in the ass to remove arms some times. If your running rockstars the arms are in the pockets. So if you don't get it right the first time there's extra work.

I do like evos new adjustable arm with the big nut for adjustment. I don't know when they switched but I like it !

I thought the same things..interested to hear opinions.

Ultimately I went with claytons even though I initially wanted on ride adjustment, but after going through the exercise I didn't find it horrible and the jams have stayed put. Keeping the love in my backyard was also a consideration for me.
