Coast driveshaft frony u joint

I was cleaning & lube my front driveshaft and when I pulled the shaft of the yolk two of the spicer u joint caps fell off is this normal?

Well, once it's off the yoke, there really isn't much holding them in place. Most driveshafts will be shipped with the bearing caps taped on to prevent this from happening. Just make sure you didn't loose any needle bearings or get dirt in them. Reinstall with grease and go :yup:

Well that's good news! I was just a little nervous when they just slipped off haha. Thanks for the info.
