CB antenna seized to mount - how to prevent?

I was going into a parking garage so I went out to unscrew my CB antenna from the mount. Unfortunately the antenna was stuck in the mount

I came home and with some elbow grease and something to leverage the wrench, I was able to get it undone

Looks like dried dirt/mud made the CB antenna difficult to move

Is there anyway to prevent this? Is this product good for that?

I would use an electrical connector lubricant. I cannot think of it right now but you can get it at any auto parts store.

It is called Dialectric grease which is used on spark plugs. I have been told by a buddy you can use vasaline as well.
