Car & Driver Next Gen 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rumors

Seems like they have changed their focus from IFS to other weight saving and fuel economy options. I'm excited to see what will happen with it.
 
I was talking to Chrysler rep and he wouldn't tell me too much. He just let on that there are going to be some big changes with the wrangler. He gave off a soft laugh and a smirk when I asked him if the wrangler would have IFS.

As mentioned in another thread, I am perfectly fine with IFS and a lightweight aluminum body. I do still believe that the next platform will be more capable in stock form that our JKs are in stock form. I also believe we wont have to wait too long for long travel kits to come out, and the benefits of IFS in the desert and daily driving are welcomed in my opinion. Not so sure about a Unibody platform though.
