Camp Gruber ORV Braggs, Ok. June 4th

Planning a trip June 4th to Camp Gruber ORV in Braggs, Ok. I heard they had closed it to Jeeps at one time but called Adam Criner. ..a Park Board Member. He is a Jeep Man and told me Jeeps are welcome. He also said he lives within 3 miles of the Park and if anything is needed...including s pull out to call him.

It's been a while since I have run any trails their. I use to run motorcycle Enduro Races there in the early 80s. It should be a good day of exploration for anyone that would want to meet up.

Wish I could go, might be able too. Idk for sure yet. Need to look at the calendar and see what all is goin on. I've never been there, a few buddies have. Been some time back though.

Would love to see you there. Camping is available. ...it's free but there is no water. ...restrooms...etc. They do have a covered Pavilion. We might go Friday and Camp. We just use a small tent. Braggs is just a couple of miles down the road for anything needed. Muskogee is about 10 miles off for a good dinner.

It's only 45 minutes from my house.

We are planning to be there about 09:00 a.m. on the 4th. If anyone is interested in meeting Friday the 3rd and Camping let me know because we are good for that as well.

Looks like about a 25% chance of rain. Hopefully the weather will be with us.

Lots of rain this week. It's suppose to rain through Friday and a 30% chance on Saturday. We are just going to plan for WET. We will leave the doors on but might pull the front freedom panels when it's not raining. I imagine it will be muddy but we are going to have fun anyway.

We will be there between 8:30 and 9. We will monitor Channel 8 on the CB if anyone is looking for us. Rain is suppose to be out of here by noon.

We had a nice day....wet...but still fun. We ran some trails......

Then found out they were having a Volunteer Work Day so we signed up and donated a couple of hours. Met some new people and had a good time.

I can't wait to go back when it's a little drier.
