Cables and tensioner turn buckle

They are called limb risers. They push tree branches away from the hood and windshield.

Not sure what they are called, they are keeping tree limbs off of your hood, looks like this setup would direct them right into toe snorkel though.
 
Thanks guys. I’ve been seeing them a lot going thru pictures lately, but it was never the item they were displaying in the images. So there was no info on them. Nbunga, now that I know what it’s for, the image I posted seems it would do exactly what you said.

Every time i see limb risers I’m like man those would be helpful and then tomorrow is another day and i forget all about them. Wheeling in the north east on tight trails if you follow the jeep in front of you too closely you might as well kiss your windshield goodbye I have seen it happen many times.
