Brights are dim

Hi y’all,
Bought my 2020 JTR used a little over a year ago. Previous owner, I suppose, installed Heise LED headlamps. They have been working fine up to a couple of weeks ago. Now they are dimmer than my dims. The bright lights indicator comes on when I toggle the switch but the lights are not bright. They seem to have varying degrees of brightness/dimness if I keep switching from dim to bright and back, but never as bright as they used to be. Voltage issue maybe? Jscan alerted me to 3rd brake light out…could that have anything to do with brights being wonky?
Thanks

Are they LED bulbs? a single LED on one side likely dead. If they're bulbs, take them out and you'll see the dead LED side.

Do you mean LED bulbs in a halogen assembly? I did not install them so not sure what they are. Heise online advertises them as LED lights rather than just bulb replacement. I’m gonna replace them with OEM, Oracle, or Diode Dynamics LED but don’t want to spend the cash until I figure out whether these lights are bad or if there is an underlying voltage issue. 1st and 3rd pics are dims…2nd and 4th pics are brights.
Thanks

after several LED lights and having them fail, I've moved to LED bulbs, especially on the JL and JT, bright and cheaper to replace when they fail.

IMO the JL/JT oem housing does well with LED bulbs without the need to replace them.

Also, If I plan to be extended stay in snow areas, I can put in a halogen bulb to help keep the headlamp clear of snow.
