I'm a LOSER
So my jeep was broken into tonight after cleaning it and planing a wax for it after the 2014 wayalife kick off run why can't they just un zip the top instead of slahing it damn crooks ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1389875903.486901.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1389875916.815873.jpg

Heard this way too many times. They get anything?

Almost worth just putting a sticker on the window with instructions on how to unzip. That's assuming the stupid bastards can read.

:asshat::asshat::asshat:
I'm thinking it may be better to have unlockable cloth doors with the cloth top, but probably can't do it these days 'cause of regs. Sorry it happened to you.

So sorry.:( 4 times here and lucky I didn't catch em or I would of given them a skull crusher in between the eyes. Hope you can lift some prints.

Sent while sitting on the crapper.

It's almost better to just leave it unlocked...then again they probably would not check the doors. Although, maybe your insurance will by you a nice New aftermarket top!:)

I leave mine unlocked all the time and nothing left inside:mad:

Sorry to hear about the break in.

As a new Jeep JKUR owner... Does anyone have tips on how to protect ones Jeep.

Currently I have a bikini top going and I leave the doors locked.

Man I really hate this kind of stuff :( :( Im thinking that the knuckle-draggers get fun out of destroying property as well as taking whatever they can lift. Even if your doors were unlocked they probably would have just done it "because. But, leaving the doors unlocked is a start if an alarm is blaring and they are in a hurry.

If you keep gear in the jeep, try a thick heavy duty box bolted to the frame. The box should have locks and be fire resistant. My husband did that recently and it's not going anywhere unless they blow torch through the box hud. A skilled thief would just take the entire car but chances are most are just out for a quick grab and "damage lulz"

This isn't our box but its very similar to what he did.

So called insurance it's all covered yes but the dumbasses couldn't even steal my cb change in a change cup a carton of cigs but the cut the top and distoried the center stack

I had my window unzipped once and then they opened my door, i don't know where my alarm was :thinking: They grabbed my backpack, that I have for work, that had 2 things of value.....my water bottle and my leatherman. They went through my center console and pulled everything out....including my check book but still only took my backpack. Glad I didn't leave my trail dash in there because I'm sure that would have been gone. That was the first and only time I have left my backpack in my Jeep.

My Jeep is parked right by the door in my new house and if anyone was ever there my dog would hear it so the next time someone decides to take what doesn't belong to them he will let me know and they will receive a courtesy shotgun stock to the face.

Oh and one guy JKMadness has the viper system (I think thats what it is) and when someone walks next to his Jeep while its engaged it makes a beeping sound at them.
