Bottleneck jack upgrade

I ordered a bottleneck jack adapter back a month or so ago (SWAG off road). Finally had a minute tonight to get it welded on the jack. Worked great! Now I can get rid of the factory piece. I wonder why the sides do not come welded. Im assuming they expect the buyer to weld them when they get it? :thinking:

Well thats definitely cheap and for $20, that aint bad! I assume thats how they keep the cost down. Welded it would easily increase to $50+

I just rose welded the top hole then ran a bead around the bottom to the top of the jack.

Nice welds man! Looks like a very clean bead for a tight spot.

Cause that way they can just punch the plates into shape and call it a day. Probably just enough to keep the cost low.

Don't follow me, I'm lost too! O|||||||O
