Hello all,
The name is Nick and I have been a JK owner/user since 2008. My Girlfriend, friends and family are all tired of how I only talk about Jeeps, so here I am.
I took time off work and went back to school to learn mechanics so I can do as much work as possible myself. I graduated and have been learning the ropes with plenty of cursing and swearing along the way.
Since 2008 I have beaten my JK up learning how to wheel. Some hard lessons included, broken windows, being stranded over night and having to purchase a new engine block.. Sigh*.
I have purchased various aftermarket components but I feel it's time to make my dream happen which is Dana 60's with 40's. My 35's were great but the obstacles are getting larger.
The local climate has taken a tole on my JK and life dilemmas made the vehicle sit for a while causing nasty rust. I take full responsibility for the rust and to rectify the issue I am completely giving my JK an overhaul.
What you see is what is left of my 2008, 4 door JK.
If anyone is interested in seeing the process feel free to drop by. I'm here to learn and hear advice and if I can help anyone I will.
Cheers to everyone.
