best place for a 30" LED BAR..

Hello all,

I would like to have your idea here, where's the best place to put a 30" led bar between on hood or on my stock bumper ??
My jeep is my all days ride, I do some trail but more of time I'm in wood/forest road, so I would like to see farther that I can, so which would be better ? First idea is to put it on hood, higher led will be farther beam will light...?
