Ball joint boot

I would keep it lubed and only replace the joint if it has play. That's just me.

If the boot is available separately, you could replace the boot, but you still have to pull the axle and knuckle to get to it.

This ^^^^ There's no real need to replace it. Just keep it greased and it'll be fine.
