Back in the saddle

Skirmish

New member
After 2 months on the beach I finally got to run rock again. Some of you may remember WOL posting a video of Vengeance at Hump and Bump a while back, my engine blew on the way out to that event and today was my first chance to crawl again. I lead 12 other rigs including JK's, TJ's, an XJ (stock) and an F-250. Skirmish stood tall and ran the hard lines. It was a very good day to wheel.

Yep. That's Tie Rod Canyon. I was proud that I got us through without passing a single "No OHV" sign. I cheated and preran it last night all the way out to the I-15 to set up the Great South Las Vegas Jeep Marathon that I'm sure you will be running.

Looks so different in the light! :cheesy:

Yeah, I need the dates for that run ASAP. Don't want to miss it! Need to coordinate a work week down there. :D

Lookin good! I will be ready for the next run...

How did the new coils and arms do???

Still open. Preliminary, trying to see when specific people can run. Trying for late April? Get with Chris and let him know when you can run. We are also thinking Eddie and Mel should run. It will be one of those epic who the hell else would do this crap kind of days. 4 trails ~3hours each, 3 teams of 5 or 6 well equipped rigs start different trails meeting on the last trail with hopefully 30 rigs through the last leg of Nelson.

Potato, Tie Rod, Devils Peak, Nelson. Around 17 hours of pain. Still interested? I knew you would be. :)

Oh I'm in!

I've done all but Devils Peak and know what I'm in for even.

I'm fairly open, just need some time to plan. April is good for me. Things get sketchy in May-July and then again in September-Oct.

She is sooooo quiet now. I'm surprised the km2's really didn't perform any better than the Falkens. Really, originally I ran 15 lbs cause I thought they would be softer and I struggled a bit. Well, part if that was after I told everyone to go 4L as soon as we took the left turn I forgot to and tried to shove my bumper through a rock wall in 2H but at 15 lbs they didn't really grab. I dropped to 12 and they were okay but I think I left more rubber than I would have with the Rocky Mts.

The last run we did together was Devils. Night run, I had a chick with me, Latina with massive cans... Yeah, that run.

LOL! Okay, maybe.

Found this new Organic Ta-Kill-Ya that is 100 proof. Smoothest stuff I ever tried. No burn at all. It is aged in Makers Mark barrels and when you smell it you can almost smell the bourbon but there is no taste of it. Don't have the name yet. The vender brought it in for us to try and we ordered several cases of it. When I have it I'll let you know.

Yes, the run when Skirmish flashed her naughty bits and I stamped ACE in the dirt with the high end of my rear bumper.

I still had 2ish tires down.

Lets not forget I was only following my spotter. I noticed you posted the pic but not the video...passenger, passenger, passenger, oh wait...driver! ;)

LOL! Before anyone gets any ideas...I was NOT the spotter in question.

Actually I think that was the last run she ran before this one. How painful is that. Anyway, you are welcome on team Skirmish for the marathon if you are worried about the spotting ability of team War Wagon (dig, stab, dig).

Oh are we splitting up team war wagon?

Skirmish aka "no running my engine while vertical for pics and vids until it smoked had nothing to do with needing a new engine" or "can I get another LED light wired in before this run?"

vs

Chris aka "...passenger, oh wait, driver, driver!"

Anything for the cameras, my rig is a whore. If I was a little more sober I would have driven out of that one, thanks Foxc for the tow out though.

You are just jealous that my engine is a 2013 and you have one of those old motors.
